Kiln carving

This an opportunity to create a beautiful fused glass picture using the Kiln carving process. This process involves drawing and cutting a design into a fibre matting. The glass is then laid over the design and heated in the kiln. The glass sinks into the design and a 3d panel is created.

Jazz will guide you through the process to create your own unique piece. You will have the choice to create 2 long hangers (20cm x 8cm) or 1 large panel (20cm x 20cm)

Please bring a suitable line drawing design that you can copy to create your piece

Fee includes all materials

The pieces will be fired and should be ready for collection two weeks later
